Training Manager - up to 35K

London based, with some travel (6 month contract)

Our retail client is a unique British design company, who as part of their growth are looking for a  six month interim Learning and Development Executive to design and deliver effective learning and development programmes to all parts of the business . This activity will ensure that leaders are skilled and engaged and have the ability to develop and motivate their teams in order to attain great results.

Key responsibilities

• To complete a learning needs analysis, design and implement a modular training offer for retail employees.
• To ensure that the design of new learning programmes includes a range of development methods.
• To design and deliver relevant workshops and specific job knowledge training to promote best practice and guidelines on processes and key business topics to improve performance.
• Utilize a variety of evaluation methods ensuring return on investment.
• Responsible for learning and development activity across all sides of the business
• To design and deliver leadership workshops for middle management and aspiring managers of the future.
• To assist the Head of HR in the implementation of a coaching programme for the Senior Management team.
• Track and monitor the training budget.

Skills

• Exceptional relationship building and communication skills.
• To have experience in the deliverance of the whole training cycle from needs analysis through to evaluation
• Delivering training across multiple sites
• Learning and Development experience gained within the retail industry
• Excellent project management and planning skills
• Experience of implementing a wide range of change management and process improvement activities.
