About the Company:
Working in Rochdale, we are looking for a first class Training & Development Manager who has experience within a retail / warehouse & distribution environment. Reporting to the Group Training Manager, your role will be varied so you’ll need experience across the board in developing and delivering training solutions.
About the role:
This is pivotal role within the training team and you will be totally responsible for the training and development of a large team of warehouse and distribution staff
- Taking a lead role in training design and delivery including Health and Safety and Manual Handling training
- Develop and deliver soft skills training
- Work to company standards regarding auditable records
- Manage staff skills and training matrix
- Identify training needs
- Work alongside the Management Team develop a consistent approach to training
- Staff supervision
- Maintain and monitor reporting processes for site training
Essential Skills and Experience:
Previous experience within a training role within a warehouse and distribution environment is essential; you will also need to have a "hands on approach" and have a working knowledge of warehouse and distribution, you will also need to be suitably qualified in the delivery of Health and Safety Training and Manual Handling.
