An Environmental Consultancy specialising in Water Treatment is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Trainee Engineer. You will receive extensive training, guidance and support as part of a successful, industry leading team.
As Trainee Water Engineer you must have a genuine interest in the environmental sector and will ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant subject. You will have an understanding of water hygiene and will have obtained some relevant industry experience. A strong minded and driven individual is needed for this role, with a confident and focused approach. You must be an excellent communicator and will ideally have a background in a customer/client facing environment. It is also essential to the role to hold a valid driving licence and be happy to regularly travel throughout the South East.
As a Trainee Engineer, you will undergo a training period of six months that will allow you to experience all aspects of the industry and to develop your skills. You will be responsible for tank cleaning and inspections, collecting and delivering water samples and will provide technical advice to your client base. Upon completion of the training period, you will be a competent and successful Water Engineer responsible for report writing and carrying out risk assessments.
