TRAINEE / EXPERIENCED RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT-VIDEO GAMING SECTOR

My client is a market leader in Video Games and Gaming recruitment and is looking for a money motivated and driven trainee recruitment consultant or experienced recruitment consultant to work on the core business (Video Games) sector. If you have expeirence in either sales or recruitment this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED IN THIS SECTOR, so, if you fancy a recruitment consultants position with a difference, read below.

With a client list packed full of corporate brands such as Sony, Warner Brothers and Microsoft, they are looking for someone who can not only build on existing business but also forge new relationships within the market. These clients demand a high level of customer care, so you must be articulate and able to communicate with different levels, from graduate up to director level. The office is a relaxed environment, with casual dress and shorter working hours than most recruitment agencies. Team fit is important so you must have a positive attitude and be able ot think on your feet when things don’t go to plan.

You will also be contacting candidates and selling the benefits of the company and selling the role to them, therefore excellent communication skills are a must! You will be able to spot an opportunity and be able to encourage repeat business and be able to develop relationships in a short space of time. You must also be able to work autonomously and have a good eye for detail as you will also be writing up editorial and prospective job adverts to put out to press.

As well as speaking to clients and candidates and matching the two together, you will also be involved into the day to day running of the office including business development, account management , interviewing candidates and managing client and candidate expectations, dealing with offers when they come in.

This role is for someone who is looking for a sales role, in a telephone based sales environment. As the client base in global, 90% of the day will be on the telephone so you must be comfortable working in a telephone based sales environment. You must also have an interest in the gaming industry. A graduate or graduate calibre candidate is essential, and previous sales experience is also preferable, however someone with a positive attitude, good communication skills and a real focus on progression and building a long term career in paramount.
