An experienced Trade Management professional is required by a successful shipping line to take overall responsibility for setting strategy and ensuring profitability on all routes. Based from European HQ in Hamburg, the Trade Operations Manager will lead regional team of Trade Managers/ Executives ensuring competitive pricing and effective marketing of services to maximise profitability. Experience in Trade Management positions is essential and applicants must have a strong commercial outlook. The successful applicant will have the ability to manage and motivate teams whilst setting strategy for regional growth. Key Experience Overview:-
- Experienced Liner Shipping professional with in-depth knowledge of Trade Management and Pricing functions
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong business acumen
- Able to manage and motivate staff to achieve goals; provide clear direction and leadership
- Excellent communicator; fluent English and German language skills are essential
