Tooling Engineer

Our client are looking for an experienced injection moulding engineer to join their existing team. You will need to have experience of taking incoming tools, commissioning them and then testing them. We are looking for experience of working to very fine tolerances (as small as 25 microns) and many tools will involve a two shot process.

Desired knowledge and expertise

Significant experience in the development of injection mould tooling systems and processes in a high volume manufacturing environment
Preparation of estimates and bids
Activity planning and management
Use of statistical tools
Proven experience of delivering technical projects on time and within budget
Experienced in safe working practices
Ability to report effectively
Experience of product development and design for manufacture for high volume moulded products
