Project Test Engineer
My Andover client is seeking an Engineer to join the team working within the Technical Department. The post will be reporting to the R&D Manager and the candidate will be involved in testing new equipment as well as 'mock ups’, you will be testing everything from initial design and theory.
Responsibilities:
- Generation of design verification test plans and carrying out relevant testing
- Maintenance of test procedures
- Design/Specification of custom test equipment
- Performing type testing as appropriate
- Providing regular management information updates and reports to Project Engineering
- Providing feedback to guide the DFMEA process
Qualifications & Experience:
- HND, Degree or similar in Mechanical/Materials engineering or Physics
- Knowledge of the C family of programming languages and Siemens S200 PLC logic advantageous
- Hands-on experience in development and type testing essential
- Experience in designing/specifying, building and commissioning test equipment essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
The salary for this role is between £25-35,000 and the company offer an excellent benefits package including Pension, Life Assurance and free parking.
