Job Description
Reed are currently recruiting for Tenant Liaison Officers for a large contract client, responsibility and duties required for this role are:
• Responsibility for delivering multi million pound contracts across the Area covering various contracts including ’Decent Homes’
• Visit tenants on a regular basis with the aim of building relationships and trust
• Provide excellent communication and customer relation services between tenants, customers, clients, subcontractors and partners
• Participation in residents forums, residents association meetings, involvement work and choice events
• Arrangement of Occupational Therapist visits to residents, removal of storage and furniture, decant tenants to new properties, carpet uplifts, respite facilities and alternative accommodation
• Actively involved in Equality and Diversity
• Work to programme deadlines, working under pressure to achieve these deadlines with the ability to prioritise work loads with excellent communication skills
• Engage with local Councillors and the Board of Directors at regular meetings
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, Outlook and in house packages
provided to update and amend tenant and property details
• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys upon completion of works on a property
• Setting up and attending weekly resident surgeries
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements on site
• Responsible for numerous sites to a selected contractor
• Use negotiation skills when tenants object to the works being carried out on ‘their property’
• Resolve resident complaints quickly and effectively
• Liaise with Local Housing Offices regarding tenant issues, working closely with Housing and Estate Officers
• Responsibility with Site Surveyors for vacant properties
