Job Purpose
This public sector organisation are looking for a temporary HR Business Consultant to work closely with the Business Partner to deliver operational HR activities within and across directorates to pre-agreed service level agreements to customers.
Key Accountabilities:
Responds to HR Business partner requirements by delivery of innovative solutions to customer’s needs.
Refers requests to the appropriate HR Centre of Expertise if the nature of the request is outside the service area’s responsibility.
Conforms to service standards agreed with the business and deliver HR services to these pre-agreed standards, scoping, timescales and quality.
Highlights opportunities for process improvement within the HR service.
Contribution to and membership of specific project teams and processes as required.
Advice, guidance and support on recruitment processes as defined in the service specification.
Advice, guidance and support on the application of employee relations procedures and processes as defined in the service specification.
Advice, guidance and support on the application of people management procedures and processes as defined in the service specification.
Advice, guidance and support on the application of workforce development procedures and processes as defined in the service specification.
Advice, guidance and support on the application of health and safety procedures and processes as defined in the service specification.
Work closely with, and feedback to the centre of expertise on service matters in relation to application of corporate policies/procedure.
Any other activities required to ensure the delivery of an effective HR service.
You will ideally be CIPD qualified or equivalent with excellent communication skills and experience of working within a HR Function, either in a stand-alone capacity or as part of a team.
