COMPANY INFORMATION

Our client has been around for over 40 years and is now one of the UK's largest independent suppliers of technologically advanced document output solutions in the UK.

The company operate a telemarketing function to work in conjunction with their existing sales team to develop new business nationally. This particular role will be into the public sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Calling businesses to introduce their products and solutions and establish interest.
. Identifying appropriate decision makers.
. Understand and demonstrate USP's that differentiate the company from their competitors.
. Asking questions of the decision maker to ascertain levels of interest and timing of contract renewals.
Arranging appointments at senior level on behalf of their Account Managers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have:
. Strong Telesales experience ideally within the industry or B2B Capital goods experience. However, other industry sectors will be considered.
. Experience of selling into the Public Sector is essential for this role
. Excellent telephone communication skills including active listening skills and the ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive.
. Ability to project enthusiastic and positive attitude down the phone.
. Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and determine buying process.
. Ability to think on your feet and handle objections.
. Ability to work to targets.
. Computer skills are required for efficient documentation and research.
. CRM / database experience would be an advantage.
