Telephone Negotiator

Howarth Morris are recruiting for a Telephone Negotiator on behalf of a leading business based in Manchester. The business are based in central Manchester and have an excellent reputation for looking after their staff, and providing excellent benefits and bonus structures. The Telephone Negotiator will be responsible for chasing outstanding debt on behalf of clients, with duties including:

• Making incoming and outgoing calls to debtors in arrears to collect payment.
• Negotiating re-payment plans with the debtors where necessary and following up to ensure payments are maintained.
• Achieving cash collection targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Resolving queries from clients and debtors regarding their accounts.

The Telephone Negotiator will have experience of working within a Collections department and will be able to demonstrate previous success in achieving targets. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to negotiate with debtors. The role will be based in Manchester and will involve shift patterns, so the Telephone Negotiator must be able to commit to these.

In return the business are offering a base salary of between £15 - 18K with bonuses of up to £500 per month + benefits.
