Telephone Debt Negotiator Collections

My client is a fast moving, progressive organisation based in Brackley. We are currently looking for Telephone Debt Negotiators to join this ever expanding company.

Your main duties will include:

Collection of overdue accounts on behalf of the client working in a team of up to 12 Collectors. External clients and debt purchase portfolios comprise of many different types of products and services and include: mobile phone providers, banks e.g. loans/mortgages, hire purchase and insurance.

These overdue accounts will have been outstanding for several weeks, months, or sometimes years and may not have been paid for a variety of reasons such as unemployment or a dispute over goods/services.

The main objective of a TDN’s role is to make contact with debtors and negotiate payment, either in full or by instalments. 

Skills & Experience

- Excellent communication skills especially over the telephone

- Should be calm under pressure

- Previous Customer Service or Collection experience is desirable

- Smart and well presented

-Competent keyboard skills along with basic skills on Word and Excel
