Telecommunications Engineer

Squire Technologies; an established Global Telecommunication Equipment Manufacturer, are recruiting a full-time Telecoms Engineer to work in the Squire Technologies Dorchester office.  The work will involve building specialist telecoms hardware equipment, testing new component releases prior to full Product Release and working on new features and suggesting innovations to move the product forward.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Building company products from sub-components against specified procedures.
• Testing products with specialist testing equipment.
• Working on new features and suggesting innovations to move the product forward.
• Troubleshooting problems.

Skills /Attributes Required

• Knowledge of networking components, VoIP, operating systems and basic computer hardware components.
• Working knowledge of Linux a definite advantage.
• Evidence can follow procedures used in either the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software.
• Basic programming/software testing
