Technician

A Poole based employer are in the market for several new team members – all of which will be based on the production floor and working within a technical capacity.

They are looking for people that have a proven background working within an electro/mechanical environment and a sound understanding of basic engineering. The items that they build, repair and service are a complex combination of electronics and mechanics, therefore all candidates will need to have worked within one of the 2 disciplines, both would be advantageous but not essential.

The following skills are essential:
Mechanical assembly experience
Basic electronics experience
Proficient with using power tools
Proficient in the use of hand tools
Able to understand technical drawings (blueprints)
Able to work to targets
Basic understanding of inspection to self assess work

These positions are all full time, Monday to Friday mainly day shifts.
