Technical Support Engineer - Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware (MCP / MCITP)
Hadlow Down, East Sussex (office/site based, covering London, East & West Sussex, and South East England sites)
c£30,000 Plus Company Laptop, Mobile, Healthcare (after probation)
If you've got a background in installing, configuring and maintaining Exchange and VMware, Active Directory and Group Policy experience, our client is in need of your talent.

Covering London, East & West Sussex, and South East England sites, as a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting users by implementing their IT infrastructure. You will provide technical support for clients, dealing with enquires escalated from the service desk.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have an MCP and/or MCITP qualification, in addition to experience of the following:
- Installing, configuring and maintaining Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007 & 2010
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- VMware and associated technologies
As a Technical Support Engineer, you must be a clear communicator with the ability to effectively describe complex technology to both technical and non-technical customers. Strong problem solving abilities are also key, as is a driving licence.
Whilst not essential, familiarity with hardware load balancers, network switching/routing and firewall technologies would be of benefit.
Experience of installing or configuring any of the following would also be advantageous: Microsoft OCS, Lync Server, Threat Management Gateway/ISA Server/ Unified Access Gateway, Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware vSphere, and/or iSCSI SAN technologies.
