A very interesting opportunity has arisen for a Senior / Lead IT Consultant with strong pre-sales experience and relevant accreditation to join this well established Central London based Solutions reseller.
This is an amazing chance for the right candidate to achieve real career progression within a forward thinking and rapidly growing organisation.
You will be working on some really exciting projects for clients up to enterprise level. Excellent design and implementation skills are required for this role as are good presentation skills.
This is a hands on role that will require excellent technical and people skills.
The main Purpose of the role is:
- Technical scoping at pre-sales stage including capacity planning etc.
- Pre-sales support of sales team including attending meetings & conducting technical qualification calls with clients .
- High level design of proposed solutions.
- Pre-implementation activity relating to creation of statement of works, implementation plans etc
- Ownership of delivery at technical level liaising with sales team, client & vendor.
- Escalation to management of risks and issues during delivery phase.
- To continue to work with customer & sales team throughout the life of engagement, acting as a cross-practice technical authority
- To remain up to date in the chosen technology fields and complement those skills with knowledge of the businesses solutions and service offering.
- Perform post-implementation reviews and recommendations.
Accreditation required:
- HP AIS / ASE
- VCP 4
- CCA
Essential Skills are as follows:
- HP Storage-works
- VMware VSphere 4/5 VMware view
- Citrix XenApp / Xe Desktop
Desirable skills:
- Microsoft Server Technologies and Applications, Active Directory, Server 2008, Exchange 2007/2010, Hyper-V, App-V
- HP/Cisco- routing & switching, security, wireless, voice
- SAN Fabrics/Switches- Cisco/Brocade
- HP EVA, HDS, EMC (EMC Clarion, VNX etc)
