Technical Author - Technical Writer - Stoke - Permanent - up to £30k

I am recruiting for a Technical Author to work for a Data Management Company based in Stoke-On-Trent.

The main Duties of the Technical Author are:

• Attending planning/briefing meetings.
• Collaborating with developers and managers to clarify technical issues.
• Researching and gathering the information required
• Understanding the technology and applications for which documentation is to be prepared.
• Gathering and analysing the information needs of the user.
• Organising information according to the user's needs.

The Technical Author needs to be able to demonstrable experience of producing clear, concise and accurate documentation. The Technical Author must deliver technical documentation in PDF
& Word formats.

The Technical Author must be from a technical background with either IT industry experience or a IT related degree background.

As the Technical Author you must have at least 1 years’ industry experience as a Technical Author.

The salary for the Technical Author is up to £30k dependent on experience.
