Our client a major Loss Adjuster and Claims Management organisation are now seeking an experienced Team Manager to join their specialist department. You will manage a dedicated client specific team of Commercial Technicians, and support staff. The department handles both Domestic and Commercial property losses from initial notification through to settlement. Responsibilities will include managing the day to day operation of the team including productivity, people performance, and client service requirements. You will manage the client relationship effectively by ensuring the team understand client requirements, deliver to SLAs and achieve KPIs, along with assisting the Head of department with Internal and External audit procedures and the development of appropriate plans to ensure continuous improvement. You will act as a customer champion by monitoring standards of call performance and seeking feedback to enhance the customer experience, as well as monitoring and driving the standards of performance within the team. The role will be predominately office based, although UK travel will be required to attend meetings.
It essential that all applicants applying for this role have experience of both Domestic and Commercial property claims, along with extensive knowledge of the insurance market, the basic insurance principles and the ability to apply them. You will have proven experience of team management, experience of insurer client relationship management and have excellent people management skills in order to performance manage, motivate and lead the team. You will have a good understanding of client SLA compliance, productivity and quality requirements, as well as an understanding of FSA procedures and TCF initiative. You will have excellent analytical and decision making ability, along with excellent customer service/client relation skills to manage relationships and provide effective dispute resolution. You will have proven efficiency in IT applications including Lotus Notes and Microsoft Word & Excel. You will also hold professional insurance qualifications including Dip CII, ACII or CILA, although not essential.
