Position: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Arundel, West Sussex
Salary/Grade: £14,731
Job Type: Permenant (Part Time - 30 hours a week)
Working Pattern: Day Time Only

We are offering one exceptional candidate the chance to be a Team leader in our Supply Chain Division based at our site in, Arundel, West Sussex.
What are you accountable for achieving?
- Ensure that all daily duties, procedures and processes are completed and adhered to on a day to day basis to ensure a high level of service is received by the customer.
- Assist the Workshop Supervisor in managing a team of prisoners as appropriate by ensuring that each team member has the skill required to carry out their job role.
- Full compliance to all Health and Safety regulations, ensuring that all Health & Safety policies and procedures within their areas of responsibility are complied with and fully maintained. Report
- Assist with the co-ordination the dispatch orders to prisoners.
- Ensure orders are distributed within the agreed times.
- Comply with all Prison Service regulations, including security.
- Ensure all delivery queries are reported to Workshop Manager/Supervisors.
- Ensure all relevant DHL operational documents are completed accurately/timely.
- Handling stock with care and consideration to minimize damages.
- Ensure the returns procedure is followed in the event of stock being damaged or an unfulfilled order at distribution.
- Observe DHL personal and product hygiene requirements in line with legislation at all times, and adopt a "clean as you go" attitude within the work environment.
- Ensure agreed KPI's are met.
What will you need as a successful Team Leader?
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a challenging environment
- Ability to coach diverse teams and show leadership with setting an example
- Ability to follow work procedures and instructions within a strong environment
- Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations, able to read, understand and follow instruction
- Ability to complete paperwork acutely and the ability to coach others
- Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations.
- Able to use own initiative to solve problems and proactively implement the solution.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
