Position: Team Leader
Location: based at H.M.P Swaleside, you may be required to work at other establishments throughout Kent and S.E London, may also be required to drive a LWB sprinter from time to time.

Your role will be to manage the distribution of the canteen service, ensuring all DHL functions and SOP's are carried out to ensure the safe, efficient and accurate distribution of orders to prisoners.

What are you accountable for achieving?
- Ensure that all daily duties, procedures and processes are completed and adhered to on a day to day basis to ensure a high level of service is received by the customer.
- Full compliance to all Health and Safety regulations, ensuring that all Health & Safety policies and procedures within their areas of responsibility are complied with and fully maintained. Report
- Assist with the co-ordination the dispatch orders to prisoners.
- Ensure orders are distributed within the agreed times.
- Comply with all Prison Service regulations, including security.
- Ensure all delivery queries are reported to Workshop Manager/Supervisors.
- Ensure all relevant DHL operational documents are completed accurately/timely.
- Handling stock with care and consideration to minimize damages.
- Ensure the returns procedure is followed in the event of stock being damaged or an unfulfilled order at distribution.
- Observe DHL personal and product hygiene requirements in line with legislation at all times, and adopt a "clean as you go" attitude within the work environment.
- Ensure agreed KPI's are met.

- Physically fit - capable of manual handling and lifting.
- Flexibility with regard to shift and rota working.

- Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations, able to read, understand & follow instructions
