Job Description
Purpose of the role
• To ensure that suppliers are meeting the agreed KPIs and targets.
• To manage and co-ordinate new product development and engineering change within the supply base.
• To aid the selection of new suppliers through discussions with engineering and quality departments.
• To ensure supplier’s tooling is in place to meet the current and future requirements and is maintained to support the organisations demands.
• To manage projects leading to component cost reductions.
• To liaise with the organisations manufacturing sites sharing knowledge, experience and co-ordinating activities within the global supply base
• To extend and increase the common international network of suppliers
