An innovative and expanding international company is searching for a skilled Systems Implementation Engineer to join a small but dynamic team in Poole.
The primary role of Systems Implementation Engineer is to enable the UK engineering team to continue to fulfil configuration and delivery obligations by commissioning network devices to establish system side communication, undertaking system test activities, check the integrity of transaction data, diagnose and produce comprehensive reports of faults and liaise with relevant representatives from the client or related suppliers among many other things.
The systems implementation engineer will also be required to contribute to interdepartmental communication aimed at improving awareness of customer needs and the project as well as actively improving the quality of products and service working in accordance with quality standards.
The successful candidate will be a service-minded individual with a background in Software Development and System Analysis/Configuration and experience supporting MS Windows and Office, SQL 2000 and 2005, CISCO. The perfect candidate will also have a sound knowledge of networking and associated protocols, software development processes and best practices, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. As a person the ideal candidate will be able to fit into an existing young and vibrant team, able to adapt quickly in a demand led environment and must also be extremely diligent with high attention to detail.
You must be able to work some weekends (roughly 5-6 per year) and occasionally extra hours as and when required in order to achieve customer satisfaction, in return for which there is additional payment.
