Our client is looking to recruit a Systems Analyst to join their team.
Responsibilities will cover all Business Systems in particular the company’s Microsoft AX2009 and ERP and PTC Windchill PDM Link packages and with backup support for SharePoint2007. This vacancy offers the opportunity to develop analysis and design skills in challenging business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
? Providing user support for Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 (ERP) system and the PTC Windchill PDM link systems.
? Consolidating and optimising the functionality of both the AX and PDM link system across the site and delivering measured improvements for the business.
? Responsibility for developing and implementing processed/procedures necessary to maintain the databases and related systems used within the ERP system
? Performing database administration work related to the Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 (ERP) applications and enterprise database (SQL)
? Managing installation, configuration, patching/updating, performance tuning, and backups of the ERP databases run at peak performance, troubleshooting performance issues
? Working with users at a variety of levels, as well as in a proactive partnership with colleagues in the application team.
? Producing creative and technical solutions to deliver real benefits to the business.
Personal specification
? IT degree or equivalent of IT Training
? Minimum of 2 years’ experience with MRPII and supporting and maintaining ERP applications
? Experience of Product Data Management Systems
?SQL 2008 Database experience
? Knowledge of the project and software lifecycle and modern analysis/development technologies
? A good understanding of development methodologies
? Customer focus and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely are essential skills
? Experience and business focus, with strong interpersonal skills
? Experience of dealing with third party software suppliers and internal business project teams to deliver quality & timely results.
? High self-motivation and the ability to deliver a high level of customer support
The following attributes are desirable but not essential for the role:
? Microsoft dynamics AX2009 Functional Application experience (e.g. Trade & Logistics, Production, Finance, CRM)
? Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 Installation and Configuration experience
? Project management skills
? Supply chain knowledge
? Change Management and Implementation
? Knowledge of Business Improvement Initiatives e.g. Kaizen
