Our client are looking for a Systems Administrator for their growing Server Infrastructure team to be based in Nottingham - commutable from all parts of Nottinghamshire, North Leicester, East Lincolnshire and the Nottingham side of Derby.

The client are an extremely forward thinking on-line retailer with major projects planned in IT and Marketing - the Systems Administrator will work directly for IT and support systems for the on - going web (ecommerce) development.

You will be a traditional Systems Administrator (Linux, SQL, Oracle and AD) and have experience in systems monitoring, performance tuning, network diagnostics, systems configuration and databases with a passion for technology and also your own personal growth - you get get exposure to everything from Visualisation to SAP to ecommerce technology.

In order to be considered you will need to have the following qualifications and experience:

Must have:

A degree in an IT related subject

Systems admin experience (strong) 

AD experience - planning and implementation

MS - SQL - installation, 2nd line support and ideally clustered environment and database migrations

Linux (Redhat) - installation, config, 2nd line support

Nice to have (but fully trainable):

Visualisation - VSphere 5

Unix - (HP-UX 11) - patch updates, performance monitoring, visualisation

SAP Solution Manager/netweaver - basis admin, system config & monitoring 

CHEF, Vagrant, Webistrano, Capistrano
