System engineer (Server, LAN, WAN), in Netherlands

We’re currently looking for a System Engineer / IT Technician to join their team in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Our client is an internationally operating IT/Telecom company and this is a great opportunity for those who would like to utilise their IT knowledge and background, and to gain their experience within international environment.

For the right candidate, they will provide working visa in Netherlands.

Main responsibilities

• System design for variety of total solutions such as Enterprise server (Server, LAN, backup, Internet etc)
• Lead business opportunity and consider profit and loss for responsible projects
• Support team staff member, other group member as well as direct superior if necessary
• Proof of concept testing and acceptance testing
• System specification and project coordination for make it schedule
• Service delivery to customer with hand-over document
• Development and implementation for new features and product services
• Consider well profitable system and implementation
• Vendor negotiation and control
• SI quotation service, work with Corporate support member, partner for development service
• 1st Level trouble shooting with customer and help them as escalation contact (if necessary)
• 2nd Level troubleshooting with CSG/NOC and help them as escalation contact
• Documented approaches for the implementation and modification
• Project and service delivery schedule management
• Periodical status report to Direct superior
• Endeavour to reach the project target provided by Direct superior
• Action ad-hoc tasks as requested by Direct superior
  
  

Requirements

• Knowledge and proficiency in Solution service (server, LAN, WAN)
• Knowledge and proficiency in security, server and network area
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Japanese language and/or Dutch is strongly advantage
• Proven customer service experience
• Cloud and SaaS, VMWare for server side
  
  

Conditions

• Salary: €40,000 - 45,000 per annum
• Benefits: Bonus, holiday allowance, travel expense
• Starting date: negotiable
