The role of support worker would be to care and support for an individual in their own property within the community. In this rewarding environment you will support individuals to lead an independent lifestyle.
Key responsibilities include: • ensuring that support plans reflect the standards • assist in development and promotion activities for service users • ensure the individual standards of care and support are maintained at all times • assist in development and promotion activities for service users • ensure the individual is supported to maintain their home
Successful candidates will have relevant experience in a supporting role either from employment, personal experience or voluntary work.
A passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities is also required for this role. NVQ level 2/3 Heath and Social Care are advantageous. Applicants must be committed to working as part of a team.
