Job Description
Reed are looking to recruit a Floating Support Sheltered Housing Officer in the area of Jarrow. The role will require you to be able to provide housing services to sheltered residents and customers in the wider community.
You must have good educational standards, hold ONC level in related subjects or Wardens Certificate or NVQ 2 or equivalent in Care Management.
You must:
Have empathy of the needs of elderly people and solutions.
The ability to work on your own initiative.
Be a team player.
Have a knowledge of and commitment to safeguarding.
Have computer literate and experience in sue of Microsoft office applications.
Experience of working with older people providing support.
Experience of working with partners.
Be able to work outside normal office hours when appropriate.
Full current driving licence (or willing to work towards within a reasonable time periods) or access to a means of mobility support.
As an individual you must be:
Professional, calm, non-judge mental yet assertive.
Tactful and diplomatic.
Confident manner and successful in a team.
Committed to the principles of equality and diversity.
Flexible approach to work.
