Due to growth, our client has created a new position for a Supply Chain Team Leader.
The Supply Chain Team Leader will cover a diverse range of procurement/planning activities and leading a small team of Planners and Buyers.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* Ensure the on time and in full delivery of finished goods to the customer
* Ensure the accuracy of the inputs and outputs to and from the ERP system
* Ensure the smooth flow of New Product Development through the Materials Department
* Manage the purchase of materials to meet demand
* Drive cost avoidance measures in Purchasing and Planning functions
* Oversee the development of Production and Capacity Plans
* Minimisation of material obsolescence
Experience required for the role:
* Fully conversant with all aspects of an ERP Manufacturing System
* Hands on Purchasing and Planning experience
* Experienced in Purchasing negotiation and supply
* Proven ability to communicate at all levels
* The ability to project manage and lead change within a purchasing and planning environment
* Experienced in Inventory Management at a hands on level
* You will be highly motivated, have a positive "hands on" approach with a willingness to take responsibility
