Job Description
As the Supply Chain Project Manager you will be fully responsible for planning, designing and driving various projects across the business aimed at improving supplier relationships, service and quality requirements. You will set clear and achievable project objectives, set strategies and design project success criteria and timeframes. Working closely with outsourced suppliers to continuously review procedures in order to improve efficiency of the outsourcing process. As a strong leader you will manage the team and lead project meetings to outline the progress and status of the project against targets. Developing a strong planning model in line with company strategy and managing implementation of projects will be important in order to succeed.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in supply chain or related and must have strong project management experience within the manufacturing industry. Candidates will have at least 5 years Project Management experience and a proven track record in designing and leading cross function supply chain projects within large organisations. Those candidates with experience in the garment industry are highly desired. Proven experience of six sigma, Excel and Word are important. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels will be key for success. Strong leadership and decision making skills coupled with great attention to detail and strong influencing and negotiation skills are critical for this role. Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese is a must. Domestic and international travel may be required.
