Job Description
As the Supply Chain Planning Manager you will be responsible for leading the Planning team and designing and implementing strategies in order to improve service levels and profitability. Working closely with the Commercial, Finance, Customer Service and Operations teams you will design and drive all demand and supply planning strategies and initiatives in order to ensure sufficient capacity to meet customer demands. Using historical and present data you will develop capacity and inventory plans and identify new opportunities. Working closely with the IT and Commercial teams you will assist with establishing solutions to improve efficiencies with demand and supply planning and to create inventory plans. Utilise excellent negotiation and decision making skills to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. Work with suppliers in order to manage peak season and changing trends. With strong leadership skills and experience of managing and developing teams you will ensure team members work towards common business goals.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business related and must have strong experience within the manufacturing industry and understand contract manufacturing. Candidates will have at least 5 years Supply Chain management experience. Proven experience of managing teams and driving demand and supply planning is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with both internal and experience stakeholders at all levels will be key for success. Strong leadership and decision making skills coupled with great attention to detail and strong influencing and negotiation skills are critical for this role. Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese is a must.
