Job Description
As the Supply Chain Manager you will have full responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the Supply Chain function to ensure its efficient operation. Working closely with other heads of departments such as procurement and logistics you will drive continuous improvements in order to optimise the effectiveness of the supply chain. Overall responsibility for capacity management and product supply reliability as well as establishing and implementing innovative supply chain concepts and procedures to bring about improvements in areas such as cost and quality. Continually review operational performance and risks in order to manage any escalations. With strong leadership skills and experience of managing and developing teams you will ensure team members work towards common business goals. Also responsible for supplier management and performance review in order to monitor delivery time, quality and price.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related subject and have a minimum of 6 years Supply Chain Management/Inventory experience. Candidates must have experience within the manufacturing and/or trading industry and have an excellent track record of leading sourcing initiatives, operational improvements and cost reduction. Excellent communication and analytical skills coupled with strong attention to detail is essential. Candidates will have experience with supplier negotiations and managing a team of supply chain professionals. Fluent written and spoken English & Chinese is a must. Travel to PRC is occasional.
