Supply Chain Manager - Global Company!

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to work for a company within the engineering/manufacturing sector. This is a very busy role where you will be leading the key Supply Chain functions. This is a very fast paced environment that requires the ability to prioritise and multi-task. You will need to be confident challenging and influencing others and have excellent communication and organisational skills. This role is working for a fantastic company with a great working environment.

The Role

This is a busy and pressurised role where you will be required to work to tight deadlines. This is an extremely crucial role in the overall progress of the plant. You will be responsible for managing key Supply Chain functions including: materials planning, scheduling and ordering, inventory control, managing and directing Supply Chain personnel to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be educated to degree level. You must have
a strong Supply Chain background where you can show good examples of team management, leading a technical Supply Chain and continues improvement of the Supply Chain process. You would ideally come from an Automotive, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering background and
have knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process. Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts would be essential.
