The role
To support the Shift Manager in Leeds to manage and continually develop its Operation and its employees.

Key accountabilities
Reporting to the Shift Manager to ensure the effective and efficient running of relevant shift. Responsible for Safety, Hygiene, Quality, Quantity, and Cost (SHQQC).To manage, coach, communicate and develop their direct reports to achieve the day to day running of the business. In addition, running the shift to enable holiday, absence and sickness cover

Skills & experience
You must have an excellent general standard of education or with extensive relevant work experience. You must also have Level 2 Health & Safety. The ideal candidate will be a capable leader and strong supervisor who can work under pressure within a high performance, fast moving environment. You must be cost conscious. A proven track record and experience gained within a manufacturing operation. Bringing a proactive and proficient approach to drive through continuous improvement initiatives and training without compromising on safety or quality.
