Job Description
Responsible for ensuring the casting equipment is available to meet the demands of the production schedule without jeopardizing essential remedial activities.
Continually monitors the casting process to maintain and improve target pit recovery.
Ensures that all Cast House loose lifting tackle are controlled effectively, carrying out inspections and arranging replacements as required. Ad her to company’s OHS and ISO procedures.
Knowledge and experience required in the position is that gained in include a thorough knowledge of Casthouse operations, the plant and its limitations, gained by several years of supervisory experience on the shop floor.
Person Specification
Person Specification
Bachelor Degree in Metallurgical Engineer or any related engineering degree.
Minimum 5-6 years experience supervisory levels from aluminium industry.
Leading the mould shop or casting technical services is a must as well.
Sheet ingot experience with wagstaff tooling and DBF.
Knowledge of ISO requirements
Excellent communications skills in English both written and spoken.
