Following a successful trading period and to aid for future growth this company now requires an experienced retail manager for their challenging retail store in Sunderland.

As store manager you will be responsible for the day to day management of the store. You will need to manage and motivate a team of sales assistants to drive and deliver a great customer experience whilst achieving a challenging sales target.

Based in Sunderland; easily commutable from, Wearside, Washington, Chester-Le-Street, Gateshead, Newcastle, South Shields, Durham, Dawdon, South Hetton, Birtley, Whickham, Newburn, Gosforth, Feling, Boldon, Pelton, Wallsend, Jarrow, Rowlands Gill

This is a hands on sales floor role so your ability to build rapport with your customers to understand their requirements and sell them the appropriate product is paramount. Your proven experience in hitting KPI's and sales targets through staff development, performance management and sales delivery will make you the perfect store manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a store manager, retail store manager, branch manager, department manager, assistant manager, and deputy manager in a sales focussed one to one retailer. An interest or passion for tools, DIY and / or car equipment either as a hobby or as a career will be a distinct advantage.

Benefits include a basic salary of £17,500 with a generous commission structure and a very achievable sales bonus of £22,000
