SQL Database Developer - Chelmsford - £30-35,000+Bens

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in central Essex for a talented SQL Developer to join a team of experienced software professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and analysis of complex databases using SQL Server.

The successful candidate will be experienced with liasing with software developers, software testers and project managers throughout the full Software Development Lifecycle. You will be the technical point of contact for all SQL related enquiries so excellent communication and documentation skills are a must in this role.

Essential:
- Commerical development experience using SQL Server 2000/08
- T-SQL (stored procedures, functions, views)
- SQL Server Integration Services/Data Transformation Services (SSIS/DTS)
- Database analysis and design experience
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Desirable:
- Testing experience (UAT, Regression, functional)
- An appreciation of Java code (J2EE, Core Java)
