The Staff Hub is looking to recruit a Specification & Contract Sales Manager to cover the South East of England. Our client is a market leader in the building products sector and this is a fantastic opportunity to join this successful business in a key role and genuinely influence the shape and size of the organisation.
THE JOB:
The job involves Contract and Specification sales within the architect and house builders scenes. The aim of the role is to realise business objectives in order to achieve market penetration in the London and South East England architects and house builders scene. The company's product solution is within building products - plumbing, heating, fittings etc.
Areas of responsibility:
- Creating innovative solutions for a diverse range of customers
- Operating via numerous channels to market, and putting a heavy focus on new products, new market sectors and competitor conversion
- Delivering national sales growth
- Driving customer satisfaction
- Mix of account management and new business development
- Producing forward plans to identify new markets and new market challenges, outlining solutions
- Attending & organising architectural seminars and CPD events
- Defining and implementing appropriate sales strategies
- Assessing needs of marketplace, anticipating change and exceeding sales targets
The role is primarily field based with occasional visits to Head Office in Yorkshire.
THE CANDIDATE:
We are looking to hear from candidates with a strong knowledge of the London architects and house builders scene, commercial acumen, intellect and relevant experience. This is a demanding field based role, and the pace of change is rapid. You will need a proven track record in contract & specification sales and creating business conversions, you will build up a thorough understanding of customer, product and industry in order to achieve the sales growth required of this ambitious company. We are looking for someone who possesses flair and can think outside the box to really drive this area of the business forward and bring some new ideas.
