Pricing and preparation of proposals to provide customers with quotations based on your own best practice designs. Your solutions should deliver maximum value to customers when compared to alternatives whilst ensuring good sustainable profit margins are achieved.
Plan and control all post order activities including procurement, inspection, documentation and final delivery. Ensuring resources are utilised efficiently and products are delivered on time, quality assured and fully compliant with customer and business requirements.
Maintain substantial in person contact with customers and contribute to the company marketing plan to ensure sales opportunities and growth are maximised.
Establish, maintain and operate systems that provide information on the competitive position, quotation success rate, hardware performance and customer perceived quality of our goods and services so that input may be made to the company marketing and improvement plans.
Maintain up to date customer and equipment databases so that sufficient historical information is available and all customers can be informed of new developments.
Provide modifications to established hardware designs (using CAD techniques where appropriate) to ensure that customers requirements for non-standard equipment are met.
Requirements
A degree (or equivalent) in Physics or a Science based discipline
Or HNC/D (or equivalent) alongside extensive experience
