Sous Chef, Newbury, Berkshire- Amazing 5 * hotel with Michelin star food. We are seeking a confident and creative Jnr Sous Chef to join the brigade at this beautiful Hotel in a country setting near Newbury in Berkshire 

The hotel sits just a mile or so from the town centre and is one of Berkshire's most talked about hotels, offering a number of facilities to cater for weddings, conferences & events. This 5*resort really is a fantastic venue!

As the Sous Chef Berkshire you will work in a team of 6 and will oversee the kitchen for 2 days a week in the Head Chefs absence. As this is an independent business the Sous Chef Berkshire will get the opportunity to create dishes alongside the Head Chef for not only the main menu that changes seasonally, but also for the daily specials.

This Berkshire hotel currently holds Michelin star status for culinary excellence and is also featured in may other food guides as a great place to eat, drink and relax when visiting the county. Therefore we are looking for a Sous Chef for this Berkshire business with previous 3AA Rosette experience plus, that has worked in a hotel environment of 30+ bedrooms

All produce is locally sourced from the local area and is of the very best quality.

The Sous Chef Berkshire role may suit a strong Jnr Sous looking for that next step or simply a Sous looking for change. As Jnr Sous Chef Berkshire you will be asked to work a combination of straight and split shifts to meet the business needs, working 5 days from 7.

Salary for Sous Chef Berkshire is £26-28K
