RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a market leading egaming company who has a great opportunity for a Solutions Architect (CRM/Data Management) to join the team. The is to provide technical advice, guidance, expertise and leadership for IT projects within the CRM/Data Management stream, ensuring the longer term IT strategic goals are met whilst meeting the business objectives. The post holder is required to work closely with the Enterprise Architect, Senior Solutions Architect, Programme Manager and key project stakeholders to improve the existing software and infrastructure architecture to realise better reuse, agility and quicker time to market.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring the assigned projects follows the overall architectural strategy and processes.
Responsible for the end to end Project Technical Design of assigned Projects within the CRM/Data Management workstream. This includes all aspects of the technical design of the projects (Application Architecture, Integration Architecture, Data Architecture, Integration Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture).
Work in partnership with the project managers, technical leads, and developers, making sure that the technical leads and developers are able to realise the architecture, by a combination of mentoring and direct involvement.
Lead and participate in architectural reviews of software, infrastructure, data and other architectures.
Verifying the implementation of their assigned projects, ensuring the delivered system is consistent with the agreed architecture, and will meet the requirements.
Responsible for the resolution of complex technical/design issues and ensure the completion of all architectural technical deliverables of assigned BIS projects.
Responsible for the completeness of all project architectural, and design documentation.
Assist with development and implementation of processes, standards and best practices for the operational support teams.
Contribute to the design and policing of Enterprise Infrastructure; Technical Architectures & Solutions Architectures.
Responsible for communicating the architecture thus making sure that everyone understands the architecture. Different people have different viewpoints, so the architect has to present various views of the system appropriate to different audiences.

Essential skills/attributes

Experience in a similar role, specifically Internet based businesses from Betting and Gaming, Retail, Banking and/or IT Consultancy.
Experience of operating at director level and able to present at Board level, translating technology into terms relating to business drivers and financial performance.
Recent architecture experience/CRM Technical Architecture, including selection, implementation, integration, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Recent hands-on experience and expertise in designing and implementing BI/Data warehousing architectures.
Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Knowledge of data architectures and technologies, including both relational/SQL and noSQL databases.
Proven track record and ability in leading technical staff, using wide-ranging skills (including planning, organising and interpersonal skills).
Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, servers, deployment, provisioning, networking, and security.
Past experience working with integration testing processes, practices and teams.
Familiarity with and buy-in on agile/lean development methodologies, continuous delivery principles.
Experience of data modeling and ETL very desirable.
