Software Quality Manager / QA Manager. A Reading based insurance firm require a Software Quality Manager / QA Manager / Quality Assurance Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Development Group Manager the Quality Assurance Manager / QA Manager will be a key part of the development group and will be responsible for both hands on verification of the quality of products and for proposing and introducing new technologies and processes and improving quality. The Software Quality Manager / QA Manager Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for hands-on testing of products prior to release, identifying securing and leading additional resources needed for peak time testing, introduce and develop appropriate automated testing, drive process improvement, building quality at every stage, interface to support group resolving application problems, manage the acceptance phase of releases, own the model office test environment and schedule and manage releases.

The Software Quality Manager / QA Manager / Quality Assurance Manager will have extensive experience in software development, with a record of delivering quality software, experience of defect-level reduction and knowledge of Agile methodologies. The Quality Assurance Manager / QA Manager will have process management and project management skills, will be well organised, able to work to deadlines and will be willing to travel to other UK offices.

Ideally the Quality Assurance Manager / QA Manager will have a quality related qualification.

The Software Quality Manager / QA Manager Quality Assurance Manager salary is £40-45k negotiable plus benefits depending on experience.
