SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT/PROJECT MANAGER
This successful Software House has experienced rapid growth over the last few years through the remarkable success of its ERP/CRM products which includes modules for Corporate Database, Document Management, Intranet/Extranet, Financials and many more specialist modules which can be specified by the client. This product is now widely recognized as the leading product of its kind in their specialist sector.
This is a varied role involving on-site and internal activities ranging from pre-sales activity, post sales service delivery, software modification and support.
Duties will include:
Assisting clients around the UK and potentially abroad implement the company’s software products.

• Define the project, key milestones, scope and targets.
• Provide business and systems consultancy aligning the application to the clients operation.
• Configure the application to satisfy the different needs of the client.
• Make software changes to the customer’s application at a level appropriate to ability
• Support the client throughout the implementation and live phases.
• Manage the project ensuring plans are set and met and scope is controlled.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure high degree of client satisfaction is achieved.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience of delivering and coordinating complex IT change management projects.  It will be highly beneficial for them to be technically competent, or have a strong learning aptitude in this area, and have proven experience and the ability to demonstrate:

• Planning, implementing, managing and evaluating projects.
• Strong people and communication skills.
• The ability to build a network of relationships at all levels within an organisation.
• Being confident and respected by colleagues and clients.
• Possessing gravitas and credibility.
• Being strong and resourceful when necessary.
• Having a proven ability to confront, negotiate with and influence people up to Director Level.
• Demonstrate experience and skills in business analysis and requirement gathering
• Understanding of key applications (intranet, CRM, financial, MS Office etc.)
• Experience of using some of the following development technologies; ASP, ASPX, SQL, HTML, VB, VBA


The successful candidate will be articulate, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be enthusiastic, have strong initiative, be people focused, have a strong personality and be a finisher. A 'hands-on’ approach to dealing with technical and project related issues is a necessity.
