Software Developer- Software development- Stowmarket- GBP30-GBP40k-
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Developer to join an established development team based near Stowmarket, Suffolk. You will have a real passion for software development and best programming practices with a high attention to detail. You must be able to work well under pressure and embrace new technologies. Good logical and interpersonal skills are key to this role as you will be expected to mentor less experienced members of staff.
The successful candidate MUST have the following qualifications and knowledge:
- C# 3.5- 4.0 with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in C# development.
- ASP.Net MVC 3
- Test Driven Development
- N-tier enterprise web development
- Oracle/ SQL Server
A knowledge of Rhino Mocks (or an alternative mocking framework), NHibernate, Continous Integration, Nant, WiX, S.O.L.I.D development principles and HTML/CSS would be extremely beneficial.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be familiar with common design patterns;
- Be able to prioritise tasks, and escalate any issues to ensure a successful resolution;
- Have strong communication skills and a professional manner;
- Have a high level of experience of mentoring and coaching colleagues;
- Have excellent analytical skills;
- Be able to manage own workload and time;
The successful candidate will be responsible for the areas of product development assigned to them. Due to the rural location, it is essential that the role holder has access to their own transport.
