We are looking for a driven, confident and pro-active Software Delivery Manager to work at an exciting and successful software company within the insurance broking market in Worcester.
Role: Software Delivery Manager
Salary: up to £45k plus car allowance & bonus
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire
As a Software Delivery Manager you will manage all Trader software delivery for both customer and strategic projects. This will include from the analysis stage through to development to QA and live support. Furthermore, your duties will include:
*To manage the work within the team, ensuring that it is delivered to time and within budget without sacrificing quality
*To mitigate against and/or resolve project, financial and operational risks in a timely manner, escalating as appropriate
*To manage the direction and scope of delivery projects, sustaining an environment that optimises individual and team contributions in order to create value and quality deliverables for our client's customers.
*To ensure that the delivery team has adequate training, tools and processes to support the changing needs of the business and to facilitate the continued improvement of delivery effectiveness and efficiency
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level in an appropriate degree discipline and will benefit from qualifications within a project management or insurance industry qualification. It is crucial that candidates can demonstrate a successful background in hands-on software development and experience of managing the delivery of software solutions using rapid application or agile methodologies. Furthermore, candidates will be experience in the management of multiple teams across a range of disciplines within a business such as business analysis, development and testing.
