Retailer Sales Development Manager

This is a 12 month contract.

JOB PURPOSE To consistently deliver key business performance objectives as set out in the SKODA Business Improvement Programme (SBIP). Working within a selected SKODA retailer in a hands-on role reporting to the BTC Project Manager and supported by the VWFS/SKODA Programme Manager. This is a pivotal role working with retailer management and sales teams to ensure effective systems and processes are in place to deliver sustainable sales performance and F&I improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES Working with the management team to achieve new and used vehicle and F&I volume and profit objectives Ensure winning behaviours are embedded into the business to create an environment for success Drive sales and F&I results using effective controls and management disciplines Build customer loyalty through finance retention and effective customer lifecycle management Manage on-site and telephone customer interaction Coaching, mentoring and skills transfer across the business in support of business objectives and RSDM succession planning Implementation through demonstration and management of a seamless sales and F&I process Regulatory compliance Monitoring, measuring and influencing retailer customer service levels Attendance at brand/finance/BTC meetings as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong leadership qualities with a background in management as a sales manager, business manager, brand manager or in a training and consultancy role Demonstrable track record of delivering results in a customer focussed environment Strong leadership, organisational and management skills coupled to a desire to succeed Ability to analyse and use data to identify training and development needs The ability to drive and sustain change through hands-on demonstration and coaching on-site with sales teams at a retailer level Fundamental understanding of, and the ability to; demonstrate sales skills and techniques A strong working knowledge of enquiry management and F&I systems (Being conversant with SKODA systems and processes such as e-GM, Chrysalis, Connect and 4Square would be advantageous although it is not critical as training will be provided) High level of interpersonal, influencing and communication skills A team player with the ability to inspire Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and able to act in a consultancy capacity with retailer staff
