With a reputation for excellence, our client is one of the UK’s most recognisable brands operating a fleet of vehicles nationwide. Due to growth of their Midlands business sector we are looking to recruit a Skilled Engineer.
The successful Skilled Engineer will have experience within motor vehicle engineering; possess excellent diagnostic skills; be familiar with V.O.S.A requirements; have excellent communication skills at all levels and work well as a team member.
The role of Skilled Engineer will be required to work on a shift basis; day shift, early shift and late shift with a guaranteed 39-hours’ per week and the possibility of overtime.
Knowledge of either PCV/LGV would be an advantage.
A recognised apprenticeship, 17th edition, City & Guilds part 1&2 or equivalent and previous experience in a related position is desirable.
A full UK driving licence is essential and a PCV licence is advantageous.
The role will be subject to a 6 month probationary period. In return, our client will offer an excellent remuneration package dependant upon skills and experience.
