We are looking for a Services Manager for a new exciting permanent job opportunity working for a Housing Association based in Wokingham.
The organisation are a national provider of social and supported housing, with a particular emphasis on providing housing support to older adults.
The role is to manage a brand new sheltered housing project based in Wokingham that provides sheltered housing to older adults in the form 18 retirement apartments. This particular scheme will house residents that have specific support needs in relation to some care requirements, including dementia. The Services Manager will be responsible for the housing management of the scheme as well as the care provision that is offered to these residents.
Key duties will include
> Ensure that the dwellings are filled
> Marketing empty properties to minimise void loss
> Recruit and manage an on site care and administration team
> Maximising the income potential of the scheme and service
> Manage performance ensuring budgetary targets are maintained
> Ensure residents are receive a high quality housing management service
Successful applicants will be able to display a significant track record within supported housing, evidence a history of providing excellent customer service, as well as a strong understanding of domiciliary care services and dementia. An understanding of the needs of vulnerable older people will be essential as will be a housing or social care qualification as the post holder will be expected to be the registered manager of the project.
The role is permanent and is working full time Monday to Friday. The role will require some travel so a vehicle and driving license will be needed.
