The opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of special effects used in the entertainment industry has arisen for an experienced Service & Repair Engineer. As a Service & Repair Engineer you will be responsible for the swift repair, servicing & re-testing of machines & equipment. The successful candidate will ideally have had some experience in a similar role with the ability to liaise with the Product Development Team and clients directly to solve technical issues to ensure excellent levels of customer service.
Your duties as a Service & Repair Engineer will include:
- Fault finding.
- Service & repair of machines & equipment.
- Ensure good customer service by swift turn-around of jobs.
- Liaise with the Product Development Team to ensure quality.
The ideal Candidate will have the following skills and qualities:
- Previous experience within a similar role repairing & servicing electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of electronics.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams.
- Soldering.
- Be efficient & well organised.
- Be a team player with close attention to detail.
Salary and Reward Package:
- Salary – in region of £16k dependant on experience.
- Holidays - 20 days plus 3 extra days for service plus national bank holidays.
- On-site parking.
