Service Engineer - Home Improvement Installations (Self Employed)

With nearly 50 years of experience, our client is one of the UK's most respected and best known brands with a well deserved reputation for quality and innovation in the home improvements market sector. An opportunity has now arisen for a Service Engineer to join their team.
If you're a commercial engineer with experience of installing and fixing conservatories, our client wants to hear from you.
In this key role, you will ensure high standards of customer service are maintained throughout the installation process.
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting client sites throughout Swindon, Salisbury and Bath to correct any faults that may have occurred post installation. This will also include any outstanding snagging.
You'll maintain good relations between the customer and the customer service centre, ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Your duties will include:
- Answering calls from customers who have faults
- Liaising with customers before the site visit
- Liaising with the customer service centre during the visit
- Ensuring health & safety at customer sites
To be considered for this position, you must be a commercial engineer with experience of installing and fault fixing conservatories.
The ideal Service Engineer will be punctual, reliable and enthusiastic. The ability to work under your own initiative is also key.
