Our client, a well respected and leading Online Gaming company, is looking to appoint a dynamic and highly skilled Service Desk Technician to the join their team. The company are a name who are engrained into the online gaming industry, and due to their continued success, are looking to move into the next exciting chapter of their growth.

The successful Service Desk Technician will have the primary responsibility for answering customer enquiries by phone and e-mail, providing technical support to customers, taking ownership for issues and updating customers on the progress of issues until resolution. This challenging yet exciting Service Desk Technician opportunity will see the successful candidate take on the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting staff with the installation, configuration and on-going usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, hardware and software
  • Ensuring that desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse and administrative systems, as well as file, email and application servers
  • Working with 3rd party support contacts to resolve technical problems as required
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing network issues and hardware failures when required
  • Managing incidents through to resolution and liaising with senior colleagues as required
  • Managing and maintaining daily/weekly backups
  • Accurately maintaining support documentation
  • Managing Microsoft Active Directory/ Domain structure
  • Image casting
